Morgan always made sure to make time for her friends, that much was something he wanted to show that no matter what she cared for the people close to her. Steve had been something of a surprise in terms of crafting a friendship, but after the time she’d been having at home, she was glad for it. “Hey Steve, thanks for meeting me for a drink. It's been a rather crazy week and I just needed to decompress with a friend…I hope I didn’t pull you from anything?” she questioned the other with a smile when he arrived. @bejcwcled

Morgan found herself grateful to have such a close relationship with her father, not many kids her age still sought their father’s company or wished to spend time with them during the weekends but in truth she’d always been something of a homebody. “Dad! I came bearing gifts!” She mused, closing the door with a kick of her food since her hands were filled with bags, sue her for going a little crazy for the weekend but still it had been such a long time since they’d spent time together. “I might have gotten all of our favorites and I don’t plan on doing any work this weekend. Mr Richards was in a flipping mood this week. You'd think someone pissed in his coffee each morning or something.” she huffed setting the bags down on the counter. @bejcwcled

Morgan had worked her ass off to get this position; she'd ensured she’d gotten her degree as well as plenty of references to prove to Mr Richards that she belonged here. She’d ensured everything was perfect before he even arrived as any good assistance would do. “Good Morning Mr Richards, Your coffee just the way you like it, I’ve also pulled a couple of files on the accounts you wanted to review first thing in the morning” she mused before pulling up her tablet to review his schedule after all it was always busy here trying to get the company back up on its feet. “Shall I go over your schedule for the day or should we stop and let you flatter me with complaints?” she teased slightly looking at her boss. @lcvenderhcze

Morgan liked Peter, it wasn’t often she’d had friends that she’d been close with, a girl with ambitions and goals usually met with people who only wished to ride her coattails or tell her she was focusing on the wrong things. But Peter never seemed to care about how high she climbed, even encouraging her to learn all that she could at her current job, maybe to become a CEO elsewhere someday. “I’m so glad you picked this place it’s like you knew I was craving some greasy tacos or something!” she mused running up to give him a big hug. “How have you been Peter? I feel like we haven’t chatted in ages??” @daydrcamings

Miss Pepper Potts the woman was a legend among the business community and here she was in standing distance! Morgan had to put on her calm face she’d been denying to talk to the woman after all she’d risen through the ranks of the industry so fast and ran it with an iron fist, of course, she knew this meeting with her boss but that didn’t mean she couldn’t talk to her as they lead their way towards the office. “Hello Miss Potts, please come with me I’m Morgan, Mr Richards's assistant” she mused with a soft smile tapping a couple of things on her tablet. @thefinalgxrl

Morgan of course knew who Tony Stark was, the man was leading next to her boss in technical advancements for the changing world but something about him staring at her while she was attempting to work was starting to grate on her nevers. She could almost see how he was hovering in the corner to attempt to step in case her experiment went wrong but honestly, she was too focused to let it bother her as she successfully connected the cupler to the proper spot. "You just because You are meeting Mister Richards didn't give you access to my labs, and yes just because I'm assistant doesn't mean I don't experiment on my own. Can I help you?" she questioned removing her goggles once the place was safe. @lcvenderhcze

"considering the monsters in the stories are usually based at least in part on the ones of the real world... i'm certainly inclined to agree." the fact that any normal person could likely be a bit... intimidated by having such a casual chat with the queen and yet for madelyn, it felt like just a normal thursday said a lot. sitting in a secret lab, talking to her while she herself worked away, tapping at the mostly translucent pads and controls... it all felt so... familiar. how had she not realized it sooner that... she was someone else? oh right, because she was a stubborn thing. "you strike me as someone who's faced her fair few of those in her life. am i wrong?"

"think someone told me something to that effect once before. well. i'm no hero. nor have i ever had any interest in being one." hope. it had been hope in what still felt like a completely different life from many lifetimes ago. it was how she'd convinced morgan stark to stop running and finally join shield even if it had been a temporary run. the hero bullshit and life just wasn't her. the only reason she was doing this... suicide mission she was taking upon herself to do was for one reason. revenge. revenge for hope who had been her friend in every lifetime in some capacity. that was it. well, technically there were two reasons. the second one was her business. "wouldn't really... say i'm brave either. more impulsive, reckless... and only really when it comes to the people i care about."
